Across our towns and roadways, thousands of automated Flock cameras have quietly proliferated. Under the guise of public convenience, these devices create a comprehensive, AI-driven log of our daily lives—tracking where you pray, where you assemble, which doctor you visit, and whose home you enter. This continuous, warrantless tracking feeds into vast, interconnected networks linked directly to federal surveillance apparatuses and ICE. Step by step, our fundamental right to move freely without being logged into a central government registry is being dismantled.
At the same time, the boundaries between state administrative function and federal enforcement are dissolving. When personal tax filings and local Census records—collected under the solemn promise of civic trust—are weaponized as tools for government dragnets, the compact between the citizen and the state is shattered.
